Mollie Thola is an LPGA Class A golf professional in the Yakima Valley. She serves as director for The First Tee of Yakima, as well as a private instructor through several golf facilities around the valley.

Join ten to twelve students in a small class to improve specific parts of your game. Class fees include one hour of group instruction, with time allotted after to answer all of your questions.

Class will cover putting strokes, how to read the green, line of putt, as well as different practices and drills to take away with you. We’ll also cover Rule 16, the dos and don’ts on the green, and Rule 17, how to handle the flagstick.

Improve your short chip shot. Clinic will also cover correct play and score procedures, how, when, and where to drop another ball, and how to best keep pace of play. Learn about provisional balls (Rule 27) and how to play according to the rules of golf.

Use that pitching wedge! Special attention in this class to River Ridge holes 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7, how those holes are different, and why. We’ll learn Rule 26, “Water Hazards,” and learn how to apply those rules to the tricky areas on the course that require different procedures.
